About

About this demonstration

WorkBridge is an independent proposal, made tangible so that it can be experienced rather than only described.

It was created by Bala Danmeri, a digital builder based in Wincanton, Somerset, to show his MP and the Department for Work and Pensions how public employment support could recognise people’s capabilities, match them with suitable work, and make the commitments of both the jobseeker and the employment service visible and accountable.

It is not affiliated with or endorsed by DWP or the UK Government. It does not use government branding, connect to any government system or process real claims.

What’s real and what isn’t

  • Real: the working software — profile editing, the rule-based matching engine, the shared plan, the adviser and employer workflows and the reset.
  • Illustrative: every vacancy, employer, adviser, fictional profile and outcome figure. Any resemblance to real organisations is unintended.
  • The founder profile: Bala Danmeri’s capabilities are self-reported and awaiting assessment. No qualifications, employment history, endorsements or verified proficiency are claimed.
