What this demonstration stores, and where
Short version: everything you type stays in this browser tab, and nothing is sent anywhere.
What is stored
When you edit a profile, add a portfolio link, create a vacancy, update a commitment or request a review, the whole demonstration state is saved in your browser’s sessionStorage under the key workbridge-demo. If you use the guided tour, its current step is saved under workbridge-tour.
sessionStorage belongs to this browser tab only. It is cleared when the tab is closed, and other tabs, devices or people cannot see it. The Reset demonstration button at the top of every page deletes your changes and restores the seeded data.
What is not stored or sent
- No profile entries, portfolio links or any other text you type are transmitted to a server. There is no database and no form submission.
- Portfolio links are never fetched by the site. They only open if you choose to click them.
- No accounts, cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or external AI calls.
- Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page makes no request to a third-party font service.
- Review requests, introductions, interview arrangements and permission requests are simulated. Nothing is sent to DWP, employers, advisers or anyone else.
What we never ask for
National Insurance numbers, bank details, benefit records, identity documents or medical diagnoses. Please don’t enter real personal information — the demonstration works best with the fictional profiles provided.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like any web host, processes standard request information (such as IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The site owner has not enabled Vercel Analytics or any other analytics for this project.
Search engines
The demonstration asks search engines not to index it (robots directives and response headers). It remains available to anyone with the link.
